Dear Fellow Club Members,
Hope you and your families have a Blessed and Happy Easter!
By now I'm positive that all of you have heard the devastating news that the Buffalo Sabres
will not be Stanley Cup Contenders this year........ Life will go on. "We're gonna win that Cup"
Bring back the Buffalo Braves! Head coach Jack Ramsay and player Bob McAdoo " 2 for McAdoo"
As a reminder we will have our monthly club General Body Meeting this Saturday April 12th at 2PM
light lunch to follow.
Special thanks to Head Chefee Joe Koszelak and crew on the fine Pork Chop Dinner that was recently held.
The food was great, and everyone had a great time! Also, kudos to the Ladies Auxiliary for making such delicious desserts for the dinner, they were a hit!
Gents, on the club business front, several housekeeping items have popped up over the last several weeks that I need to address with all of you. We are a very large club, and I try to successfully navigate the club waters when they are calm and when they become turbulent. With that said, respectfully, please note the following items that have been brought to me;
Gentle Age Old Reminders;
1. When the Gym is rented, the rental will always take precedent over ANY type of pick-up sports activity.
Do not ask any club staff or the renter if you can stay longer. The answer is NO. Please be respectful of other members.
The above is not a new club policy.
2. If you receive a drink cup you cannot collect the drink cups, leave the premises, and utilize them on another day.
If you do not use them while you are on site, give them to another or leave them behind.
If a club steward is presented with them, they will not be honored. While at the bar PLEASE do not flip over the drink cups on your own.
The above is not a new club policy.
3. The Bell Jar Machine is a very popular venue at the club. Please note that when playing the tickets, and you win, the tickets are to be redeemed the day that you are at the club. Not collected and brought back in on another day. Drinks being served take precedent over cashing in of tickets when you are playing the Bell Jar's, please be mindful of that when the bar is busy.
4. When you rent the facility, or play sports of any kind, ABSOLUTELY no alcoholic beverages are to be brought into the building at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please be respectful of the club home when renting and playing sports. The above is not a new policy.
5. REMEMBER to bring your key fob or card, please do not get upset if the door is not opened quickly for you, it's not the bartenders fault you forgot your fob or you drove your wife's car. Repeated or long ringing of the front buzzer will only make your wait longer.
Please be respectful of bar staff.
I thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
Working together we continue to make the club home a safe, clean, fun place to be!
Queen of Hearts Drawing Every Friday Night at 8PM, Sign in drawing every Saturday at 8PM
Multiple Winners in every row in the Bell Jar Machine! Stop Down and don't miss out on a chance to win!
Stay Safe!
